ONLY BOUNDLESS LOVE CAN SILENCE THE WHISPERS OF THE PAST . . .

A broken woman.
A damaged man.
A free spirit intent on saving them both.

Elysia ‘Sia’ Willis lives a solitary life. The only person in it is her big brother, Ky, vice-president of the infamous Hades Hangmen. She loves him, but she has absolutely no love for the outlaw MC he belongs to.
Raised in secret by her mother, Sia grew up separated from her brother and distant father. No one knew she even existed.

After the tragic murder of her mother, Sia spiraled into a rebellion against the rules of the Hangmen. A rebellion with dire consequences that now, years later, she still can’t escape.

As she lives once again in secret, happy on her own at her secluded ranch, a devil from her past comes calling. A devil who wants to possess her once again and take her from the simple life she never wants to lose.
And he will stop at nothing to collect what he believes is his: her.

Valan ‘Hush’ Durand and Aubin ‘Cowboy’ Breaux have finally found a home in the mother chapter of the Hangmen. The notoriously private Cajun twosome have, for now, put aside what chased them from their beloved Louisiana. But as threats toward the club build, Hush and Cowboy are given a task—protect Elysia Willis at all costs. Cowboy welcomes the job of watching over the blond-haired, blue-eyed beauty.
Hush fights against it.

Scarred by events from his past and a secret that plagues his everyday life, Hush refuses to let anyone else get close. Only Cowboy knows the real him. Until a certain sister of the club’s VP begins to slowly knock down his defenses, shattering the heavily built walls that guard his damaged soul . . . with his best friend leading the charge.

As lost and open hearts begin to meld, taking each other from indescribable pain to the never-before felt relief of peace, the newly-mended threesome must first endure one more rocky path.
Only then will they finally shake free of the shackles of their pasts.
Only then will they shed the bonds that have for too long held their happiness captive.
And there is only one way to survive that path . . . together.

Dark Contemporary MFM Romance. Contains scenes of violence and explicit sexual situations. Over 18’s only.

My Review:

AHHHHH! I am so freaking obsessed with this series that it isn’t even funny! I have been waiting for what feels like years for Crux Untamed and its finally here and everything I wanted and more! Tillie Cole is brilliant and has knocked another book out of the park!

The Story. I am so happy that Hush, Cowboy, and Sia finally got their story. Cowboy and Hush have been best friends for several years now and are bound together by an unspeakable tragedy in their lives. When Sia’s past threatens to destroy everything she has worked for, Cowboy and Hush step up to the plate to make sure that doesn’t happen. They both feel something for Sia, but they don’t expect the overwhelming depth of emotion that comes with exploring those feelings. Sia grew up in the biker world, but was constantly rejected by her bastard of a father and wants nothing to do with it. However, her brother, Ky, won’t let her forget that she always has a family with the Hangmen. Reluctantly, Sia takes Ky’s help in the form of two beautiful, badass bikers who make her feel safe for the first time in years. The past keeps wedging its way in between this unlikely trio, but they have to decide whether they are going to let the past win.

Tillie Cole does a fantastic job of writing deeply emotional, tragic stories that make you want to curl up in a ball and cry. It draws you into the story in a way that makes you feel a part of it. I was rooting so hard for all three of these brilliant characters. The pace was perfect for the story, and it was so well written. I was glued to my kindle the entire time because I had to know what was going to happen next. I also loved getting to see the other couples throughout the story as well. Reading Crux Untamed actually made me want to go back and reread the other books because I miss them so much!

Sia. Sia hasn’t ever felt safe with a man besides her brother in years due to daddy issues and an awful man from her past. Sia wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of Austin to escape the club, but she doesn’t expect to find an even worse situation when she runs away to Mexico with her best friend, Michelle. Now, she has been in hiding to make sure her past can’t ever find her again, but sometimes the past still catches up with you. Cowboy and Hush make her feel beyond safe and she finds herself coming out of her shell little by little. I loved Sia’s fire and her independence. She wasn’t about to let any man walk over her. She usually puts on a front for the world, but she finds that front slipping when it is just Cowboy and Hush around. I loved seeing Sia’s development throughout this book.

Cowboy. Cowboy is your resident happy go lucky, confident, loud man who is always ready with a wink and a smirk. Cowboy was the light in this trio that I adored because he knew how much darkness his partners held within them. Cowboy with his Stetson and boots was the perfect balance to the other two. My favorite quality of his was his loyalty to Hush and how he was always there to pull him out of the darkness.

Hush. This man. Hush is the one who stole my heart in this book and I don’t ever want it back. This quiet man has so much grief and despair and darkness within him that it is a wonder that he gets up everyday. All three of them have had hard pasts, but Hush’s takes the cake. Hush has grown up not quite white, but not quite black either. He has such deep emotional scars about what happens when two colors fall in love and create what some feel is an abomination. Hush is extremely protective toward those who are called any sort of negative name and he is willing to protect them at all costs. And if Hush hasn’t been dealt enough of a tragic hand, he struggles hiding a disease that could lead to being grounded from the club. Hush has never fully let anyone in, not even Cowboy, but he is gonna have to find out if it is worth losing two people he loves more than anything to keep his secrets. Hush’s journey was beautiful, sad, and absolutely amazing to read. He was the star of the book for me.

I highly highly recommend this book to those who love: dark romance, tragic pasts, MFM romance, motorcycle clubs, cocky cowboys, feisty females, and broody bikers.

Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars!
