REVIEW: Good Girl by Jana Aston

I’ve always been a good girl.
I work hard, I follow the rules, and I always achieve my goals.

But sometimes good girls want things that aren’t good for them.
Or someone who isn’t good for them.
Like their new boss.

And sometimes they do very bad things to get his attention.
Like sell their virginity in an auction.

Who knew he’d be so very, very mad?
Maybe this was not my best laid plan…

OMG! This book made me a fan of this author and I need to read alllll of her books now! Good Girl was such a light, funny read that had me giggling from beginning to end.

The story begins with Lydia kissing a hot stranger in a bar, and then finding out he is her boss’ boss’ boss, Rhys. Rhys has no idea what to think of Lydia, but he can’t get her out of his head. However, his head is focused on getting his new resort ready for the grand opening so Lydia takes drastic measures to ensure she has his undivided attention. This plan might include a certain auction for her virginity with the sole goal of Rhys being the the one to buy her. Everything goes off without a hitch until the time is extended from one night to one month, then nights in with House Hunters and room service start to complicate things. Will Lydia only end up disappointed in the end or will Rhys pull his head out of his ass in time to figure out he is looking at his swan?

Lydia was my absolute favorite character in this book! She was so adorable and completely naive when it comes to sex that it had me giggling so hard. She is also one of those who can’t stop talking when she is nervous or things get awkward or she needs to ask innocent questions or…you get the picture. I loved Lydia’s humor even when it was on the cheesy side because she was too adorable not to still love her. I also loved her goal oriented, rule following ways because I am the same way!

Rhys had no idea what he was getting himself into when Lydia burst into his life and turned his world upside down. He honestly did not know what to make of her half of the time and questioned her sanity the other half. One huge thing I loved about this man was that he let Lydia be herself and expected nothing else. Of course, he was also hot and sexy and fully took on the role of teacher when it comes to all things sex. This man had it all and still needed a woman 12 years his junior to school him on a few things.

I thought these two were brilliant and I can’t wait to read the next book, Good Time, about her best friend, Payton, and Vince!

I highly recommend this book to those who love: light books, virgins, romantic comedies, office romance, quirky heroines, and alpha heroes.

Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars!
