END GAME is book two in The Dawson Family Series and concludes Quinn and Archer epic love story.
I fell in love with Archer and Quinn in Cheat Codes and was anxious to see what Emily Goodwin would have in store for us in book 2, End Game. I love the drama that comes with an unexpected pregnancy so I knew I was in for a whirlwind when I picked up this series!
End Game picked up right where Cheat Codes left off, and it was a fantastic conclusion to Archer and Quinn’s story. We really got to explore more of Archer’s back story in this one, which I was really excited about since we focused more on Quinn in the last book. Archer’s family drama was heartbreaking and Archer continued to keep a stoic face on the outside despite how utterly sad he was on the inside. On top of that, Archer and Quinn were navigating a long distance relationship and trying to figure out what their future looked like. It was messy, real, and everything that needed to happen for these two. These two found out exactly how much they would sacrifice to ensure they achieved the dreams they had for their futures.
I freaking love Archer because he is legit the best boyfriend a girl could ever ask for. He is sweet, compassionate, and so supportive. He is determined to achieve his dreams in order to provide for his family and make sure they are happy. I really hope to see Bobby more in the next books because I really want Archer and Bobby to be brothers again. I want Archer to have his big brother back and for Bobby to defeat the odds.
Quinn is seriously the best. She is always thinking of others even at the expense of herself. She is so intelligent and is not afraid to think for herself. She and Archer didn’t bullshit each other and go through petty drama that annoys me to no end. She was exactly the person that Archer needed and it was amazing to see their growth throughout this series!
Goodwin did a great job with this story and I felt every heavy sacrifice and decision these two had to make. I also felt every great triumph and excitement they went through too. This was a very well written story and fleshed out the story well. I loved each and every one of the characters (aside from Kara…) and I loved seeing the interactions between this large, boisterous family. This is a tight knit family that makes me want one of my own one of these days.
Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars!
