logo-facebookFirst things first!  We created a Facebook group to talk about all things books, funny memes, and our favorite authors.  Please come in join us HERE at the Rad Babes Reads Group!

IMG_1287This past week was a busy one here at my house, and I didn’t get to relax and enjoy nearly as much as I had originally hoped for.  We had a week filled with drs appointments, church retreats, work commitments, and family events.  Every night I crawled into bed, hoping to read, and ended up collapsing into my pillow and passing out until the alarm blared the next morning, just to start all over again.

With that in mind, let’s talk about my TBR list and how that’s going.  I have officially read ONE book from my list.  Yes, you read that right.  ONE.  I’m pretty sure it’s the same one that I talked about last week, which was Tell Me Three Things.  My review for that one is posted HERE if you haven’t had a chance yet to take a look.  I adored it and highly recommend it, especially if you like YA contemporaries.  I’m hoping to have On the Fence by Kasie West finished up by the end of the weekend so fingers crossed that it happens!

Despite not reading anything from my “official TBR” I did read two really good books this week:

You can read both reviews HERE and HERE.

I have three ARCs I need to read for this coming week, and a few other books I have bookmarks stuck in that I’d love to finish up.  Keep your fingers crossed that I have lots of new books to tell you all about next week!!

IMG_1288.JPGAs always, it has been a crazy busy week for me! I am currently student teaching in a kindergarten classroom, which can be both rewarding and exhausting. Graduation is so close that I can taste it, and I will soon have my Master’s degree in my hand! Due to student teaching, I have not read nearly as much as I used to, but I still get some good reads in in my free moments.

I was able to finish my reread of Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas, I finished listening to Follow Me Back by A.L. Jackson on audio, and I read three ARC’s: Seduce Me by Kelly Elliott (read my review by clicking on the picture), Truth by Trilina Pucci, and Let There Be Light by A.M. Johnson. I am hoping to get one more book in tomorrow, but I have no idea what that book might be yet! Click on the pictures to be sent to the Goodreads page or my review!

I have one more ARC to finish for this week and I am going to continue my reread of Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. Other than that, my week is pretty open so I will decide what to read as it comes!

This week the blog will feature an article on Charli’s experience at the Origin Event in Austin, Texas that she attended a few weeks ago.  She’ll be talking about planning for the event, the different authors and experiences she had while there, and the goodies she brought home with her!

Also look for new cover reveals for the latest releases from Vi Keeland, Amy Daws, and RS Grey!

We will also have Blog Tours and Reviews for not one, but two highly anticipated new releases!

There will be some other fun things happening around here too, including a chance to win the latest release from author Jillian Liota!
