The worst day of my life happened when Brandon died.
We had our entire future mapped out.
Careers, marriage, kids—in that order.
Then the universe threw a curveball and ended it all.
As I come to terms with everything, I learn I’m carrying his baby. Now I’m living with his roommate, the guy who’s made my life a living hell the past two years. Hunter’s now the one to hold me up when all I want to do is fall.
Knowing my religious parents will never accept the pregnancy out of wedlock, Hunter offers to be my fake husband. While I think he’s gone crazy, it’s the only plan that’ll keep them in my life. So I do whatever it takes to make our relationship believable—kissing, touching, even letting him hold me when we sleep. The lines are so blurred neither of us want to admit we’re no longer pretending.
The guilt of what we’re doing eats me alive as I struggle to deal with my emotions. I push him away, but he pulls me closer, showing me how he’s always felt.
Just as I begin to follow my heart, I learn Hunter’s been keeping secrets.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life…
I’ll be honest, after finishing Baby Mine, I was emotionally exhausted, and I wasn’t sure if my heart was ready for Baby Yours. Kennedy Fox infused these stories with so much emotion, that I couldn’t help but feel everything that these two characters were going through on a personal level. And it was rough. There was a lot of ugly crying going on, I’m not going to lie.
What Baby Yours gives us is a story of hope. A story of forgiveness. A story of overcoming your own guilt and living your life for what you can have, rather than what could have been. Where Hunter and Lennon grown in Baby Yours is through their strength to overcome the feelings of guilt that overwhelm them, especially Lennon, when it comes to her feelings for Hunter. I loved taking this emotional journey with them, and felt like Kennedy Fox’s writing really showed their growth with Baby Yours.
I’ve been a fan of K Fox from the very beginning when they first released This is War. And while I loved This is War, and thought the writing was really good, I’ve watched it grow into something fantastic. With each book these two write together, their story telling gets better, their plotting gets tighter, all while still bringing those same feels and surprises that I fell in love with at the very beginning. I am so excited to see what else Kennedy Fox brings us this year, especially after reading the ending of Baby Yours. Now I’m on pins and needles waiting to read about their next couple!!

Oh man! This book really put my emotions through the wringer, especially after the ending of Baby Mine. Kennedy Fox does a fantastic job of writing stories with an emotional punch. I love how they write their stories because they are so well written.
This story truly is a story of loss, coping with it, and finding the hope to move on. I absolutely loved Hunter and Lennon. Hunter is so sweet and protective of Lennon. He wants to do everything he can for Lennon. Lennon is so conflicted throughout this whole book and it was hard to watch her struggle.
The slow burn in the book nearly put me over the edge. I just wanted to skip to the HEA because Kennedy Fox really tortured us with this one in the best way. Fox gave us a brilliant ending to this duet and it was beautiful.
I can’t wait to see what they bring us next!
