Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce.

Not me.

It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than just her brother’s best friend.

When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.

Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.

After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.

Charli’s Review:

I usually don’t read a ton of romantic comedies because that is not my jam, but Teagan Hunter always does a great job of making me love the genre. I am also just a huge Teagan fan so she can make me read anything.

A Pizza My Heart is a heartwarming brother’s best friend romance that had me rooting for two people that were truly meant to be together. I thought Teagan wrote their story brilliantly and gave us very likable, relatable characters to cheer for.

I adored Wren and Foster! I was really happy that Teagan didn’t have them jump into anything, especially with Wren just starting to see Foster as more than a brother. I got to see them as the friends they always were before getting more from them. It made this book and their relationship so special. Yes, I wanted to pull Wren’s head out of the sand myself, but everything went as it should have and it was worth the wait.

Wren is a spunky, sassy heroine who is always ready with a sarcastic comment. I loved her drive to accomplish her dreams and her love of the ocean. Foster is a sweet, funny hero who is beyond ready for his love to no longer be unrequited. I loved the way he loves Wren and the chemistry they have together.

I am absolutely salivating for the next book because it’s going to be epic. I am already counting down the days for Drew’s book!

Emily’s Review:

Romantic comedies are my absolute jam, and Teagan Hunter is one of my absolute favorites. I’ve yet to read anything by her that I haven’t fallen head over heels in love with. I never imagined that she’d bump her previous texting series out of my top spot, but she completely blew me away with A Pizza My Heart!

This book is the type of book you take to the beach, or crack open when you need to just escape for a few hours. It’s a feel good, brother’s best friend, swoony romance, with a bit of a slow burn feel. Wren and Foster are the most adorable couple, and their chemistry is off the charts. I loved the fact that they’d been friends nearly all their lives, and that this attraction had been brewing for years. Add in a bunch of hilarious side characters, a cute, fuzzy dog, and a whole lot of pizza and I was completely sold!

Our heroine Wren, has known Foster since she was thirteen. He’s always been like a brother to her, but since his return to their small town, she’s seeing him in a different light. Wren is probably one of my most favorite female characters even. She was sarcastic, funny, and willing to go out on a limb for the ones she loved. Her relationship with her dad was heartwarming, and her love for her family meant everything. I just adored watching her discover her feelings for Foster, and seeing their relationship develop beyond friendship.

As for Foster, I ADORED THIS MAN! He was absolutely adorable, charming, attractive, and his feelings for Wren were so pure. I loved him from the very first scene, and couldn’t wait to find out his secrets, and why he did what he did over the years. It was absolutely amazing to see him and Wren come together, and I’m just thrilled with how this book came together!

I cannot wait to see what other treasures that Teagan has in store for us with this series!

Standalone Brother’s Best Friend Romcom!

I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.

Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
