I hate Drew Woods, and she hates me.

Even so, I’m not the cold jerk most make me out to be, and I have no problem moving the single mom and her baby into my home. I do, however, draw a line when it comes to acting on the way her loose lips make me feel.

She’s too mouthy, too prying, and her curves are way too distracting.

I might have lost my way after a nearly fatal car accident, but I’m not stupid. Giving in to Drew would be a short-lived fix for this pain I’m saddled with, and I knead something permanent.

I’d be insane to think what we have could be anything other than temporary…right?

Emily’s Review

I have never made it a secret about how much I adore Teagan Hunter. She’s a phenomenal author, and a fantastic person. She has inspired me in some of the best ways possible, and her books can always help me feel better when I’m having an off day. Honestly, I never thought that I’d love a series of her’s as much as I loved the Texting books, but she is really knocking it out of the park with the Slice Series. I adored the first book, A Pizza My Heart, and I was so excited when I found out we were getting more in the series. And once I saw the cover for I Knead You Tonight, I knew I Kneaded that book in my life ;).

This book is a single parent, enemies to lovers, best friend’s brother romance. It has it all. Drew Woods is our heroine, and she’s a single mom struggling to make it from paycheck to paycheck. Her son is only a few months old, and life is really hitting her with the punches. When her car breaks down in the parking lot of Slice one evening after work, she takes a ride from Winston Daniels, her sworn enemy and the twin brother of her best friend Wren. Drew hates Winston just on principal, and believes she has him all figured out.

Winston has his own struggles and demons to overcome, but despite the fact that he doesn’t like Drew, he can’t stop himself from offering a helping hand. Not to mention the fact that he can’t stop thinking about how she felt in his arms as she had an emotional breakdown in the parking lot of Slice. It was the first of many bumps along the road for these two, and while I thought for a while they might not pull it together, Winston and Drew finally got their happily ever after.

With I Knead You Tonight, Teagan has proven to me again why she’s an autobuy author for me, and why I always make sure I have plenty of time when I start one of her books, because I’m not going to put it down until I”m finished!

Charli’s Review

I have been a huge Teagan Hunter fan for a while now! A Pizza My Heart was an adorable read, and I was stoked to read book two because you know I can’t resist a single parent romance. When you add brother’s best friend AND enemies to lovers, I knew this was going to be a knockout for me!

I loved Drew and Winston’s dynamic and their hilarious back and forth. These two definitely kept me on my feet. Nothing ever came easy for this couple, but the roadblocks certainly made for an interesting journey. Winston is sassy and willing to do whatever she needs to for her son, and Drew is a man with an attitude who is about to figure out that two people can change your life forever.

My favorite thing about this book was the reality of it. Teagan gave the characters real flaws and struggles to work through to become a stronger unit.

I can’t wait to see what comes next!

About the Author

I’m a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.

Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
