Rocked to her core, Adrianna is faced with an incurable illness. She’s aware of what she’s up against and is willing to risk what’s left of her for what she loves. With one last chance, and despite her doctor’s orders, Adrianna struggles harder than ever to achieve her dream.

Tired and torn, Kova embraces his flaws as he watches Adrianna reach her breaking point. Unable to stand by as she continues to endanger herself, he surrenders to what he wants most, even if it means losing himself in the process.

As Adrianna fights for her life, Kova battles for them both. No one is left unscathed as they succumb to their darkest hunger. Passions reignite and their actions grow bolder, creating an endless link between them. Once is a mistake. Twice is reckless. Three times is a choice. But this time they may have gone too far.

I can’t even describe to you the amount of anxiety that I have about this series and these characters. I have such an attachment to these characters that I have to know that everything will turn out okay. Lucia is a master at sending curveballs and keeping you guessing how everything is going to turn out. I am always left feeling emotionally drained because I feel so deeply for the emotions that Adrianna and Kova go through.

If the last book was about healing, Twist is about the strength and the will to keep going when something as uncontrollable as a disease is trying to tell you that you can’t. Honestly, I had no idea how Adrianna was going to pull through this book with two disease while training, but Adrianna’s grit and strength came through. Adrianna is such a strong, inspirational, slightly crazy, beautiful character that keeps getting back up.

Of course, Adrianna’s will isn’t the only force pulling her back to her feel…Kova is also there to breathe air into her when she needs it most. I finally felt like I was getting to know the real Kova in this book because he was more open. We also finally get some answers to some of the actions that he has taken.

Kova and Ria’s growth has been tremendous since book one. They are oil and fire and come together in one explosive entity. What I loved most about this book was there was more stability between these two in this book. I felt like I was getting a glimpse into what they can truly be together when they aren’t having to battle a multitude of obstacles in their way. However, then Lucia had to go a throw a wrench in everything there at the end, but Lord knows I was expecting it because Lucia thrives on leaving us hanging.

All I can say is, Dismount can’t come soon enough and it is going to be one epically fantastic ending to a series near and dear to my heart.
