In New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s gripping new novel, a young woman comes home to reclaim her life—even as a murderer plots to end it. . .

It’s been ten years since Sasha Keaton left her West Virginia hometown . . . since she escaped the twisted serial killer known as the Groom. Returning to help run her family inn means being whole again, except for one missing piece. The piece that falls into place when Sasha’s threatened—and FBI agent Cole Landis vows to protect her the way he couldn’t a decade ago.

First one woman disappears; then another, and all the while, disturbing calling cards are left for the sole survivor of the Groom’s reign of terror. Cole’s never forgiven himself for not being there when Sasha was taken, but he intends to make up for it now . . . because under the quirky sexiness Cole first fell for is a steely strength that only makes him love Sasha more.

But someone is watching. Waiting. And Sasha’s first mistake could be her last.

I read Till Death by Jennifer L. Armentrout as part of Romanceopoly 2020 when I landed on Killer Crescent. For this space, I had to read a thriller with a serial killer on the loose and I have been wanting to read this book for forever! This gave me the perfect excuse to pick it up! Thrillers and romantic suspense books are some of my favorite to read!

Sasha came back to her hometown after ten years when she is finally ready to pursue her dream of running her family’s bed and breakfast. When she fled a serial killer ten years ago, she left a sweet man behind with no explanation. After things start happening around Sasha, Cole, the man she left behind, storms back into her life with his FBI badge flashing with the sole purpose of making Sasha his….and to make sure nothing ever happens to her again.

Sasha is an incredibly strong woman who has gone through hell. I loved reading Sasha’s growth and development throughout this book because seeing her healing process was beautiful. She continues to get up everyday and finds her passion again. It helps that she has an incredibly sweet, strong man who is determined to learn about the woman he fell in love with ten years ago.

I absolutely adored Cole! Cole has been immersed in guilt with letting Sasha be taken away from him all this years ago. Now, he is a sexy FBI agent with all the resources and training to make sure she is always protected. I loved how Cole was with Sasha. He cherished and loved this woman with everything he had.

Sasha and Cole together were perfect. The spark and intensity they shared ten years ago never left either of them. They came back together like no time had passed and it was beautiful. I could not get enough of these two!

As for the thriller aspect of the story, I thought JLA did a fantastic job weaving this thrilling tale of suspense and mystery. Let me preface my next statement by saying I watch a lot of Criminal Minds and CSI shows: I picked out the killer the moment he entered the story. That is all I am saying on that, but it was fantastic!
